24LCS21A-I/SN General Description

The Microchip Technology Inc. 24LCS21A-I/SN is a versatile EEPROM designed for applications requiring storage and serial transmission of control information. With 128 x 8-bit dual-mode memory, this device offers Transmit-Only mode and Bidirectional mode operation. Upon power-up, it automatically enters the Transmit-Only mode, transitioning to Bidirectional mode upon receiving a valid control byte on the I2C™Compatible bus. The device also features a write-protect pin for securing the memory array. Available in a standard 8-pin PDIP and SOIC package, the 24LCS21A operates efficiently in industrial temperature ranges
