A5191HRTLG-XTP General Description

The A5191HRTLG-XTP is a cutting-edge single-chip CMOS modem designed specifically for use in highway addressable remote transducer (HART) field instruments and masters. This advanced modem, along with a few external passive components, seamlessly incorporates all necessary functions to meet HART physical layer requirements, including modulation, demodulation, receive filtering, carrier detect, and transmit-signal shaping. Notably, the A5191HRTLG-XTP is conveniently pin-compatible with the SYM20C15, offering flexibility and ease of integration for users. Operating at 1200 bits per second, this modem utilizes phase continuous frequency shift keying (FSK) to deliver robust and reliable communication performance in HART applications
