AD7401YRWZ General Description

The AD7401YRWZ is an advanced sigma-delta modulator designed to convert analog input signals into a high-speed 1-bit data stream. Its unique feature includes on-chip digital isolation based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. With a differential input signal of ±200 mV (±320 mV full scale), and the ability to operate from a 5 V power supply, the AD7401 offers exceptional performance and flexibility. The analog input is continuously sampled by the modulator, eliminating the need for external sample-and-hold circuitry. The output stream contains the input information as a density of ones, with a data rate of up to 20 MHz. This allows for the original information to be reconstructed with an appropriate digital filter. The serial input/output can use a 5 V or a 3 V supply (VDD2), providing additional versatility for different application requirements
