ADS1148IPWR General Description

The ADS1148IPWR is a precision 16-bit analog-to-digital converter ideal for sensor measurement applications. With integrated features such as a low-noise amplifier, a precision delta-sigma ADC, and an internal oscillator, this device helps reduce system cost and component count. Additionally, the ADS1147 and ADS1148 models offer a low-drift voltage reference and programmable excitation current sources. The input multiplexer supports multiple differential inputs, sensor burn-out detection, voltage bias for thermocouples, and system monitoring. The selectable gains up to 128 V/V make it suitable for temperature sensor measurements using thermocouples, thermistors, RTDs, and other small signal sensors. The single-cycle settling digital filter allows for fast channel cycling and data rates up to 2 kSPS, while effectively rejecting 50Hz and 60Hz interference at lower data rates
