For those in need of a sophisticated analog front-end solution for optical bio-sensing tasks, the AFE44I30 offers a comprehensive set of features to meet diverse application requirements. From heart-rate monitoring to SpO2 measurements, this versatile device can accommodate up to six LEDs and four photodiodes, providing ample opportunities for customization. The transimpedance amplifier plays a crucial role in converting photodiode current into voltage, while the ADC enables precise digitalization of the signal. With a 128-sample FIFO block and I2C interface, data processing and retrieval become seamless and efficient. Additionally, the integrated LED driver with 8-bit current control ensures consistent illumination levels for accurate sensing. With its high dynamic range circuitry, the AFE44I30 excels in capturing even the smallest signal variations, making it an ideal choice for demanding bio-sensing applications
