AT89C4051-24SI General Description

The AT89C4051-24SI microcontroller from Atmel is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit device operating at a maximum frequency of 24 MHz. It features 4KB of reprogrammable Flash memory, 128 bytes of RAM, and a versatile set of peripherals, including a 4-channel 10-bit ADC, two 16-bit timer/counters, and a serial communication interface. With an operating voltage range of 2.7V to 6V, it is suitable for a wide range of applications and is designed for low power consumption. Its compact 20-pin SOIC package makes it easy to integrate into small form factor designs, and power-saving modes help extend battery life in portable devices

Key Features

4K bytes of Flash, 128 bytes of RAM, 15 I/O lines, two 16-bit timer/counters, a five-vector, two-level interrupt architecture, a full duplex serial port, a precision analog comparator, on-chip oscillator and clock circuitry. In addition, the AT89C4051 is designed with static logic for operation down to zero frequency and supports two software-selectable power saving modes. The Idle Mode stops the CPU while allowing the RAM, timer/counters, serial port and interrupt system to continue functioning. The power-down mode saves the RAM contents but freezes the oscillator disabling all other chip functions until the next hardware reset.
