The AWR1642ABISABLQ1 offers an integrated single-chip FMCW radar sensor solution for automotive radar systems in the 76-81 GHz band. Its use of TI’s low-power 45-nm RFCMOS process enables a monolithic implementation of a 2TX, 4RX system with built-in PLL and ADC converters, as well as integration of the DSP and ARM R4F-based processor subsystems. This allows for simplified sensor implementation in a wide variety of modes, with the potential for dynamic reconfiguration. In addition, the device is bundled with a complete platform solution, including TI reference designs, software drivers, sample configurations, API guides, and user documentation, ensuring a comprehensive and user-friendly experience for developers.
