Each ESD channel in the CM1213A-02SR consists of a pair of diodes that effectively steer ESD currents to the positive or negative supply rails, ensuring optimal protection against ESD strikes. The presence of a Zener diode between the supply rails not only protects the VCC rail from ESD strikes but also eliminates the need for a bypass capacitor. This feature makes the CM1213A-02SR well-suited for applications involving high-speed ports like USB 2.0, HDMI, and Serial ATA, where low capacitive loading and robust ESD protection are essential for seamless operation
