FAN7391MX General Description

The FAN7391MX is a high-performance gate-drive IC that offers exceptional versatility and reliability for a wide range of applications. Its buffered output stage and specialized NMOS transistors deliver high pulse current driving capability with minimal cross-conduction, making it ideal for driving high-speed MOSFETs and IGBTs effectively. Designed with Fairchild's high-voltage process and noise-canceling techniques, this IC ensures stable operation in high-dv/dt noise environments. The advanced level-shift circuit enables seamless high-side gate driver operation with a maximum VS of -9.8V for VBS of 15V. Moreover, the FAN7391MX features an advanced input filter on the HIN pin for protection against short-pulsed input signals caused by noise, along with UVLO circuits to prevent malfunction when VDD and VBS are below the threshold voltage. Its high-current capacity and low-output voltage-drop make it a versatile choice for applications such as PDP sustain pulse drivers, motor drivers, switching mode power supplies, and high-power DC-DC converters
