Its short minimum on-time enables fine micro-stepping capability, making it a suitable choice for applications requiring precise motor control. Moreover, the availability of the HIP4080A, a similar part with an on-chip input comparator for PWM signal generation, further expands the capabilities of the HIP4081AIPZ in hysteresis mode switching scenarios
