HV857K7-G General Description

The HV857 has two internal oscillators, a switching MOSFET, and a high-voltage EL lamp driver. By connecting an external resistor between the RSW-Osc pin and VDD or GND, you can enable or disable the chip. The frequency of the switching MOSFET is set by an external resistor connected between the RSW-Osc pin and VDD. In contrast, the EL lamp driver's frequency is determined by a resistor linked between RELOsc and VDD
