L4984DTR General Description

The L4984DTR is a cutting-edge current-mode PFC controller that leverages LM-FOT control for seamless boost PFC converter operation. This proprietary modulator allows fixed-frequency operation while maintaining CCM operation, making it an ideal solution for EN61000-3-2 and JEIDA-MITI compliant applications spanning from few hundred W to 1 KW and above. The highly linear multiplier ensures reduced crossover distortion of the AC input current, enabling wide-range-mains operation with reasonably low THD even over a large load range
