LM2991SX/NOPB General Description

In addition to its superior performance, the LM2991 is equipped with short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown with hysteresis, enhancing the device's reliability when inadvertently overloaded for extended periods. Available in 5-lead TO-220 and DDPAK/TO-263 packages, this regulator is rated for operation over the automotive temperature range of −40°C to +125°C, with Mil-Aero versions also available
