MCP79402-I/SN General Description

Boasting a built-in SRAM memory and a unique factory-programmed ID in EEPROM, the MCP79402-I/SN sets itself apart from other real-time clock/calendar devices. This locked section of EEPROM contains a MAC Address that can be unlocked and reprogrammed by the end user, adding a layer of customization to the device. With its low-cost 32,768 kHz crystal or other clock source, this RTCC provides reliable timekeeping in a compact and affordable package
