The MIC184YM is a highly adaptable digital thermal supervisor designed to offer precise temperature measurement. With the capability to utilize its own internal sensor or an external sensor, this versatile device provides flexibility for various thermal management applications. Equipped with a 2-wire serial interface, the MIC184 can communicate with I2C or SMBus masters, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. This upgrade for the LM75 boasts additional features such as remote temperature measurement capability, interrupt status and mask bits for software polling, and an open-drain interrupt output pin for overtemperature alarm or thermostatic control signal
