MOC3021SR2VM General Description

The MOC3021SR2VM is an optically isolated triac driver consisting of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a silicon bilateral switch. This device is designed for use in controlling the small power signal relay, static switches, and other industrial solid-state switching applications.The MOC3021SR2VM features a maximum input current of 60 mA and an isolation voltage of 5300 VRMS. It has a zero-crossing circuit that ensures smooth and noise-free operation in AC applications. The triac driver has a maximum peak blocking voltage of 300 V and a maximum peak on-state voltage of 1.6 V.This device is available in a 6-pin DIP package, making it suitable for through-hole mounting on a PCB. The MOC3021SR2VM operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 100°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
