NE556DT General Description

The NE556DT is a dual precision timer integrated circuit (IC) that is housed in a 14-pin SOIC package, offering engineers a versatile and dependable solution for a wide range of timing and oscillator applications. With two independent 555 timer circuits in one package, this IC provides the flexibility to operate in monostable (one-shot), astable (free-running oscillator), and bistable (flip-flop) modes, allowing for a variety of timing functions to be implemented. Its wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 16V and high output current capability make it suitable for use in low-voltage and battery-operated applications, enabling it to directly drive loads such as LEDs, relays, and small motors.
