OPB980T51Z General Description

The OPB980T51Z is a high-performance slotted logic opto switch built for precision sensing applications. It features a totem pole sensor output and can be mounted on a panel or chassis. With a gap width of 3.18mm and an aperture width of 1.27mm, it offers accurate and reliable sensing capabilities. The sensor operates at a forward current If of 40mA and a reverse voltage Vr of 2V, with a forward voltage of 1.7V. Its external dimensions are 10.8mm in length, 12.32mm in width, and 6.35mm in depth. Designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, this sensor is suitable for automotive applications. It features a Schmitt trigger optocoupler output type and has a maximum output voltage of 30V. The sensor has a propagation time for high to low and low to high transitions of 5µs, with fall and rise times of 70ns. It also has a maximum reverse leakage current of 100µA and requires an input current of 20mA. This sensor is compliant with automotive qualification standards and does not contain any SVHC substances
