The control and interrupt system operates autonomously, allowing the sensor to detect wake-up events and report them through the interrupt pin, letting the processor rest when not needed. Furthermore, its digital output is communicated over an I2C- and SMBus-compatible, two-wire serial interface, ensuring seamless connectivity with other components in the system. This sensor's ability to automatically adjust full-scale ranges for light measurements from 0.01 lux up to 83k lux showcases its impressive 23-bit effective dynamic range, making it a versatile and reliable choice for various lighting applications
