SG3524N General Description

The SG3524N is a voltage mode PWM controller IC that is designed for power converters and inverters. It features a precision reference voltage, error amplifier, oscillator, pulse steering flip-flop, output control circuit, and high current totem pole output.The SG3524N operates over a wide range of input voltages from ±8V to ± 35V and can deliver up to 200mA of output current. It has a frequency range of 100Hz to 500kHz and can be synchronized to an external oscillator.The error amplifier of the SG3524N provides accurate voltage regulation by comparing a voltage signal with a reference voltage and generating an error signal that is used to control the duty cycle of the PWM signal. The output control circuit ensures that the PWM signal is properly adjusted to drive a power MOSFET or IGBT for power conversion applications.
