The SM72445MT/NOPB product is a versatile MPPT controller designed to optimize the performance of solar panel systems. With the ability to control four PWM gate drive signals for a 4-switch buckboost converter, this programmable controller ensures efficient power conversion. The innovative Panel Mode (PM) feature allows for direct connection of the panel to the power optimizer circuit under specific conditions, enhancing overall efficiency. Combined with the SM72295 Photovoltaic Full Bridge Driver, this controller enables MPPT configured DC-DC converters to achieve efficiencies of up to 99.5%. The integrated 8-channel, 10 bit A/D converter ensures accurate sensing of input and output parameters, enabling precise control of the system. With externally programmable settings for maximum output voltage and current, as well as customizable slew rate and soft-start options, the SM72445 offers a comprehensive solution for optimizing solar energy systems
