The TLC5971RGET is a sophisticated 12-channel constant-current sink driver that offers precise control over LED lighting systems. With 65536 PWM grayscale steps for each output channel, users can achieve smooth and accurate dimming effects. The device also features 128 constant-current sink steps for each color group, allowing for customization of the overall brightness with the global brightness control function. GS control and BC settings can be easily accessed through a two-wire signal interface, making it simple to configure and program the driver. By using an external resistor, the maximum current value for each channel can be set, providing flexibility and control over the lighting output. Additionally, the IC includes overtemperature protection, ensuring the safety and reliability of the system by turning off all constant-current outputs when needed.
