TMS320DM6446AZWTA General Description

With its Level 1 and Level 2 cache-based architecture, the DM6446 ensures efficient data processing and management. The peripheral set of the device includes 2 configurable video ports, a 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet MAC (EMAC), an inter-integrated circuit (I2C) Bus interface, audio serial port (ASP), general-purpose timers, watchdog timer, GPIO, UARTs, pulse width modulator (PWM) peripherals, and external memory interfaces. Additionally, the DM6446 incorporates a Video/Imaging Co-processor (VICP) to offload video and imaging processing tasks from the DSP core, freeing up more MIPS for common video and imaging algorithms
