TOP246YN General Description

The TOP246YN is an integrated switcher IC that combines several essential functions for power supply applications, including a high-voltage power MOSFET, a PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) controller, and various protection features into a single package. It is commonly used in off-line, isolated and non-isolated power supplies, and AC-DC converters.

  • 132KHz frequency reduces transformer/power supply size
  • Hysteretic thermal shutdown for automatic fault recovery
  • Large thermal hysteresis prevents PC board overheating
  • Switching frequency of 132KHz (frequency pin connected to source) and 66KHz (connected to control)
  • Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 150°C
