TPA3110D2PWPR General Description

The TPA3110D2PWPR is a highly efficient audio power amplifier designed to drive bridged-tied stereo speakers with a power output of 15W per channel. It features Advanced EMI Suppression Technology, allowing for the use of cost-effective ferrite bead filters at the outputs while still meeting EMC requirements. The inclusion of SpeakerGuard™ speaker protection circuitry ensures the safety of the connected speakers, with adjustable power limiting and DC detection capabilities. Additionally, the amplifier can drive stereo speakers with impedance as low as 4 Ω while maintaining a high efficiency of 90%, eliminating the need for an external heat sink during normal usage. The outputs are fully protected against shorts to ground, VCC, and output-to-output, with both short-circuit protection and thermal protection featuring auto-recovery functionality
