TPS51120RHBT General Description

The TPS51120RHBT is an advanced dual, synchronous step-down controller designed for high-power applications in notebook computer systems. With the capability to run off a three- or four-cell Li-ion battery, this controller provides reliable and efficient 5V and/or 3.3V standby regulation for all downstream circuitry. Its high-current linear regulators ensure seamless switch over to SMPS and can operate independently during standby mode, offering uninterrupted power supply. The adaptive on-time control scheme allows for optimized operation across various load conditions, with optional D-CAP mode for reduced external components. With dynamic UVP support and various protection features, the TPS51120RHBT guarantees reliable operation and protection against voltage fluctuations and faults. The 32-pin QFN package ensures easy integration while offering a wide operating temperature range for versatile use in different environments
