The UCCx8C4x family includes the UCC38C41DR in 8-pin VSSOP (DGK) and 8-pin SOIC (D) packages, providing flexibility for different design requirements. With a fast current-sense-to-output delay time of 35 ns, the device offers superior overload protection at the power switch. Furthermore, its ±1-A peak output current capability with improved rise and fall times enables efficient driving of large external MOSFETs directly, enhancing overall performance in power supply applications
