The buffered output-enable feature of the SN54ACT16373 and 74ACT16373 adds another layer of flexibility to their functionality. By switching the outputs between normal logic states and high-impedance mode, these latches provide enhanced control over signal transmission. This capability is especially valuable in bus-organized systems, eliminating the need for additional components and simplifying circuit design
