AFE031AIRGZR General Description

The AFE031AIRGZR from Texas Instruments is a versatile analog front-end (AFE) device designed for powerline communications applications. With its ability to work with capacitive- or transformer-coupled connections to the powerline, this AFE is an ideal solution for driving low-impedance lines requiring up to 1.5 A into reactive loads. Its integrated receiver can detect signals as low as 20 µV RMS, offering high sensitivity in varying input signal conditions. The AFE031 also features a transmit power amplifier that operates from a single supply voltage ranging from 7 V to 24 V, providing a wide output swing capability for reliable performance
