DS90C383MTD General Description

The DS90C383MTD is a high-performance transmitter that effortlessly converts 28 bits of CMOS/TTL data into four LVDS data streams, offering a reliable solution for addressing EMI and cable size problems associated with wide, high-speed TTL interfaces. The phase-locked transmit clock and 65 MHz clock frequency ensure efficient data transmission at a rate of 455 Mbps per LVDS data channel, resulting in a data throughput of 227 Mbytes/sec. Additionally, the programmable edge data strobes and the option for Rising or Falling edge strobe programming make it easy to interface with different graphics controllers, ensuring seamless interoperability with compatible receivers like the DS90CF384. The DS90CF384 receiver, available in a 64 ball, 0.8mm fine pitch ball grid array package, offers a 44% reduction in PCB footprint, further enhancing its appeal for space-constrained applications
