Designed for high-speed and high-power applications, the FOD3120SD gate drive optocoupler combines advanced technology with optimized IC design to achieve exceptional performance. Its ability to drive power IGBT and MOSFETs, combined with its high noise immunity and high common mode rejection, makes it well-suited for motor control inverter applications and other high-performance power systems. The integration of a gallium aluminum arsenide (AlGaAs) LED optically coupled to the integrated circuit ensures reliable and efficient operation, while ON Semiconductor’s proprietary coplanar packaging technology, Optoplanar®, further enhances its noise immunity
