FSB50550BL General Description

Meet the FSB50550BL (DIP type) – an advanced Motion SPM 5 module that takes inverter output stage performance to new heights. This module integrates optimized gate drive using built-in MOSFETs (FRFET® technology) to minimize EMI and losses, while also providing multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts and thermal monitoring. The high-speed HVIC requires only a single supply voltage and is capable of translating incoming logic-level gate inputs to high-voltage, high-current drive signals needed to properly drive the module’s internal MOSFETs. Additionally, separate open-source MOSFET terminals for each phase support the widest variety of control algorithms, making this module well-suited for EMI-sensitive applications like fan motors for air conditioners, washing machines, and dishwashers
