No new software releases plannedThe JN5161 is an ultra low power, high performance wireless microcontroller supporting ZigBee Green Power andIEEE802.15.4 networking stacks to facilitate the development of wireless sensor applications. It features anenhanced 32-bit RISC processor with 64 kB embedded Flash, 8 kB RAM and 4 kB EEPROM memory, offering high codingefficiency through variable width instructions, a multi-stage instruction pipeline and low power operation withprogrammable clock speeds. It also includes a 2.4 GHz IEEE802.15.4 compliant transceiver and a comprehensive mix ofanalogue and digital peripherals. The very low operating current of 15 mA, with a 0.6 μA sleep timer mode,gives excellent battery life allowing operation direct from a coin cell.The peripherals support a wide range of applications. They include a 2-wire I2C, and SPI ports which can operateas either leader or follower, a four channel ADC with battery and a temperature sensor.
