MCP79522T-I/MN General Description

I. The MCP79522T-I/MN is a highly integrated SPI real-time clock and calendar (RTCC) with memory and advanced features, typically found in higher priced devices. Its digital trimming feature allows for higher accuracy, while the battery switchover ensures backup power. Additionally, the device includes a timestamp to log power failures and three types of memory - SRAM, EEPROM, and a unique ID in a locked section of EEPROM. This unique ID comes preprogrammed with a 64-bit MAC Address, but can also be ordered blank for end user programming
