PCA9557RGVR General Description

The PCA9557RGVR is a versatile 8-bit I/O expander with a wide operating voltage range, making it compatible with most microcontroller families via the I2C interface. It features high-current drive capability for directly driving LEDs and low current consumption, ensuring energy efficiency. Additionally, system masters can reset the device in the event of a timeout or improper operation by asserting a low in the active-low reset (RESET) input. The device also allows for up to eight devices to share the same I2C bus or SMBus through hardware programming
