SG3524BN General Description

Boasting advanced processing techniques and circuit design, the SG3524B pulse width modulator sets a new standard for switching power supplies with its improved performance. As a direct pin-for-pin replacement for the SG1524, it offers enhanced reference accuracy and an extended common mode range at the error amplifier and current limit inputs. The inclusion of a DC-coupled flip-flop eliminates triggering and glitch problems, while a PWM data latch prevents edge oscillations, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. With true digital shutdown for high-speed response and an under voltage lockout circuit to prevent spurious outputs in low voltage conditions, this modulator delivers exceptional performance. Additionally, the full double-pulse suppression logic guarantees alternating output pulses when pulse-by-pulse current limiting is activated. Operating within the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, the SG3524B is ideal for a wide range of applications
