SG3525AN General Description

Featuring an error amplifier, oscillator, dead-time control circuit, pulse steering logic, and high current output driver stage, the SG3525AN is a powerful PWM controller IC tailored for power supply and inverter applications. With a fixed frequency of 100kHz and a variable duty cycle of up to 100%, it offers precise voltage regulation and effective power management, ensuring optimal performance. The error amplifier compares a reference voltage to the feedback signal from the power supply, while the oscillator generates the PWM signal with the desired frequency. The dead-time control circuit prevents shoot-through in the output stage by enforcing a time delay between the high and low side switches. With the pulse steering logic determining the output polarity based on input signals, the SG3525AN is a crucial component for any power supply or inverter circuit
