TC624VPA General Description

The TC622 and TC624 temperature sensors are the modern solution for sensing and control applications that previously relied on mechanical switches. These programmable solid state sensors integrate a temperature sensor with a voltage reference and all necessary detector circuitry, allowing users to easily set the desired temperature setpoint with a single external resistor. When the measured temperature exceeds the programmed setpoint, the OUT and OUT outputs are activated. The TC622 operates over a power supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18.0V, while the TC624 works with a power supply range of 2.7V to 4.5V. Both devices are usable over a temperature range of – 40C to +125C, making them ideal for a wide range of environments. With low supply current, these sensors are also suitable for portable applications and are available in eight-pin through-hole and surface mount packages. Additionally, the TC622 is offered in a 5-pin TO-220 package, providing even more flexibility for different applications
