The TPS57040-Q1 is a versatile and efficient step-down regulator, offering a wide range of features that make it ideal for a variety of applications. With a 42-V 0.5-A output and integrated high-side MOSFET, this device boasts current mode control for easy external compensation and flexible component selection. Its low-ripple pulse-skip mode minimizes no-load input supply current to just 116 µA, while the shutdown supply current drops to a mere 1.5 µA when the enable pin is toggled
