TPS62811QWRWYRQ1 General Description

The TPS6281x-Q1 series offers a versatile range of synchronous step-down DC/DC converters, ranging from 1A to 4A, providing high efficiency and user-friendly design. With a peak current mode control topology, these converters are ideal for automotive applications like infotainment and advanced driver assistance systems. The devices feature low resistive switches that can deliver up to 4A continuous output current even at high ambient temperatures. Additionally, the switching frequency can be adjusted externally from 1.8 MHz to 4 MHz, offering flexibility in design. The converters automatically enter power save mode at light loads in PWM/PFM mode, ensuring high efficiency throughout the load range. With 1% output voltage accuracy in PWM mode, the TPS6281x-Q1 series enables the creation of precise power supplies. The SS/TR pin allows for customizable start-up time and output voltage tracking from an external source, enabling external sequencing of supply rails and controlling inrush current during start-up
