Within this innovative cascaded architecture lies two high-performance phase-locked loops (PLLs), a low-noise crystal oscillator circuit, and a top-of-the-line voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The first PLL (PLL1) serves the critical role of jitter cleaning, while the second PLL (PLL2) handles clock generation. PLL1 can be configured to collaborate with an external VCXO module or employ the integrated crystal oscillator with an external crystal and varactor diode, offering flexibility and versatility
