IPS1025HTR-32 General Description

The IPS1025HTR-32 is a high-performance single high-side switch IC that excels at driving capacitive, resistive, and inductive loads, with one side grounded for optimal performance. Its exceptionally low RDS-ON (≤ 25 mΩ up to TJ= 125 °C) enables it to handle continuous operating currents of up to 2.4 A (IPS1025H/HQ) or 5.6 A (IPS1025H-32/HQ-32), making it ideal for a wide range of applications. The IC is equipped with a junction temperature sensor to protect against overheating, while a case temperature monitor ensures safe operation by preventing activation until the temperatures are within a specified range. Additionally, the built-in overload protection circuit actively monitors the output current and adjusts the impedance of the switch to limit current levels, providing comprehensive protection for both the IC and the load. With two sets of activation threshold and limitation levels, the IC offers versatile driving capabilities for different types of loads, including those with peak current demands. The diagnostics system, based on FLT1 and FLT2 pins, allows for quick detection and resolution of overload or overtemperature events on the output channel
