IPS161HFTR General Description

Built-in protections including overload and thermal shutdown safeguards ensure the IC, application, and load are protected from electrical and thermal stress. Additionally, a low-dissipative short-circuit protection feature limits power dissipation in the event of a shorted output, preventing device overheating. The cut-off delay time can be customized by adding an external capacitor or disabled using a resistor on pin 4 (CoD). Furthermore, the DIAG common diagnostic open drain pin provides valuable information about the status of the load, including open load, cut-off due to overload, and thermal shutdown detection
